A helping hand on the farm

Our Year 7's get stuck in on the Farm!

Mrs Whelan and a group of the Year 7's have embraced the farm over the past few months helping Mr Cooper during some of the busiest months of the year.

The "Farm Gang" have enjoyed their regular visits, working together as a team and showing a great sense of maturity and responsibility at the farm.

Most recently they have moved the pigs outside in the freshly filled beds; fencing barricades to prevent unnecessary diversion of piggy traffic!

'Drenching' the Ewe's and lambs AKA worming them!

Generally working hard to clean out the water troughs, make good of the surroundings and whilst under the supervision of Mr Cooper and Mrs Whelan (who HAS picked up a shovel and a broom on occasion herself) enjoy the stunning surroundings in the sunshine.
