Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance
Students at The High Weald Academy are well-informed about the range of opportunities available to them in the local area, to continue their studies at Post-14, Post-16 and Post-18. This is especially important as the educational landscape develops around technical qualifications and apprenticeships.
We provide as much information as we are able through the pastoral system as well as through the curriculum. In addition we strive to build links with local providers in sixth form colleges and schools, higher education establishments, workplaces and apprenticeship providers and university. We have a close link with Pathways CTM, available to both Year 11 and Post 16 students, with a focus on apprenticeships in particular. This will enable all of our students to make the best possible choices.
